Cd Runable Linux Distros?

Does anyone know anything besides Knoppix, Knoppix-STD, and Phlak?

What do you need more for? There is a bunch of others although I find Knoppix to be the best one. Before Knoppix there was demo linux. I think it's discontinued though.

I believe there is one simply called livelinux, as well as Slax.

Also if you want there is even a live linux for the xbox which works just fine. Although I forget it's name.

There is also a handful of other ones but I can't remember there names right now.

some of the evals are CD runnable. i think the SUSE 9.1 eval is

Try DSL(**** Small Linux). It runs f***t. No KDE.

Just about every distro has a live aval .from mandrake,sun, suse ,don't know about red hat though.

Also try http://www.distrowatch.com/ They have an extensive listing of Linux distros. Some I know off the top of my head are Jollix, and Overclockix.

i am very happy with this system... makes a lot of fun!
much better then the previous versions (like i said before... =) )

There are quite a few. Distrowatch is an awesome place to get info on linux distros. Personally, I like PCLinuxOS (mandrake based), Slax, and Jollix. My personal fav right now is Jollix (basically a stage three gentoo installation with KDE 3.2, the 2.6 kernel, and of course, portage)
Installing it to hard drive is rough tho..but it is quick as ****. Id personally stay away from debian based stuff tho....
